Who We Are

Maristella and Wendy met in 2011 working together designing luxury hotels and resorts for some of the world’s largest hotel brands.  Together they have over 30 years experience in the industry and, in 2023 decided to co-found London based Gold Canary FF&E after realising their shared vision to deliver bespoke designs with passion, enthusiasm, and efficiency.

Adaptable and willing to take on any challenge, Maristella and Wendy have worked on the procurement of projects across multiple disciplines and countries including private residences for ultra-high net worth individuals across the globe; loft style show apartments in Tribeca; multi unit workspaces across the EMEA region. 

Their wealth of technical knowledge, design background, commercial acumen, project management skills and extensive international experience together with their strong relationships with clients and trusted suppliers, allows them to provide a reliable client service, meeting every budget and timeline.

Founding Team

  • Co-Founder

    Wendy started her career designing luxury hotels, spas and private members clubs, before expanding into the exclusive world of high end residential. Her portfolio stretches across the globe from Africa to Brazil and many places in between. This international experience means that Wendy can confidently navigate complex cultural intricacies on behalf of clients and has allowed her to build up a wealth of practical knowledge on all aspects of project delivery, from shipping to customs delays, to final installation.

    Coupled with her warm and pragmatic approach Wendy’s distinguished reputation is well known across the industry and reflected in her loyal portfolio of clients and suppliers.

  • Co-Founder

    Born and raised in Italy, Maristella moved to London to pursue her studies in Interior Design. Having worked in the industry in both design and procurement management roles, she brings with her a myriad of experience across the hospitality, workspace and high end residential sectors. Most recently she oversaw the FF&E Procurement of all Wework buildings in the EMEA region, negotiating multi million dollar contracts with a global network of suppliers.
